travel insurance argentina
Thursday, March 11th, 2010What is the significance of borders between countries (and states, provinces, etc.)?
Are the borders infinitely thin lines? Wikipedia says: "In the past many borders were not clearly defined lines, but were neutral zones [but have] been replaced by the clearly defined and demarcated border. "But when I travel from one country to the border often seems more of a neutral zone between "leaving some countries" and the sign "Welcome to another country" sign. (Examples are between Argentina and Brazil, near Iguazu Falls, BTWN Costa Rica and Nicaragua Ometepe go to the lake, and others) Say I sprained ankle exactly between these two signs, does anyone know what country I must say to my travel insurance, I had an accident?
You look at insurance and bailouts for both countries and drag you to the best. The border is a thin line carefully. The question is: where exactly is it located and how can we manage it? The first is usually resolved by survey or by an agreement not to argue too strongly. This is often handled by backing off a distance equal on both sides and the establishment of custody and customs inspection stations of different access gates if a vehicle can traverse the border into the country he wants to enter without being free to proceed. The current border is marked with a line of the road, a marker or barrier usually left open.
