Is there a vet where you can check your pet for free?

I was wondering if some places as a veterinarian check your pet for free if you can not afford to go to the vet?

There may be some veterans who do pro bono work, but they are few and far between. We go to school for eight years and end with more than $ 100,000 of debt just for the doctorate. It becomes very difficult to see patients free of charge with this type of debt. I would check with local shelters in your area. Many of them have clinical low cost that can not be free, but they are quite close to him sometimes. The other thing about veterinary care is not so much in our control is the implementation of diagnostic and laboratory tests. There are certain charges associated with the delivery of laboratory and overhead costs for the machines is a veterinarian in the office. My best advice is to call around and see what you can find in shelters and veterinarians in your area. If you reach the point where they know they will not pay for needed care (the cat is ill and will die of something totally treatable, but you can not afford the treatment) may be better to give your pet to a veterinarian.
